Sightseeing in the region

Luckenwalde, the former industrial town and today's district city of Teltow-Fläming, is the ideal starting point for trips to Berlin, to the idyllic Spreewald, the Lutherstadt Wittenberg and Potsdam. All of these places within can be reached one hour by car. The cities of Leipzig and Dresden are suited for a day-trip as well.

Nature and sport lovers in Teltow-Fläming: the region offers good times for mellow landscapes, wide fields and dense forests. The plain country in the North merges smoothly with the soft hills in the South.

Europe's largest skating route provides a 220 km long path for bikers and skaters in the midst of a fair and beautiful landscape.

Also hikers and nordic walkers may enjoy the beautiful nature on numerous signposted trails.

Monastery Zinna
The 900 years old Cistercian monastery is a museum with a weaver parlor and an exhibition distillery. You should try the original "Zinnaer Klosterbruder" liqueur!

Blankensee
The small village at the picturesque lake Blankensee was several times awarded the "Most beautiful village" in Brandenburg. Worth seeing are the Farmer's Museum and the Sudermann Park around the castle.

Glashütte
The former center of glass manufacturing in Brandenburg is today an open-air museum and a technical monument. Many artists let visitors participate in their traditional work.

Brand Tropical-Islands
The amusement and leisure park "Tropical Islands Resort" is situated in the world's largest cantilever hall.

Zossen / Jüterbog - Draisinenstrecke
The handcar route in the Southern region of Berlin stretches across 26 km between the town Zossen and Jänickendorf through an exciting countryside.
